Lenny Von Dolen, the actor who played the agoraphobic recluse Harold Smith on Twin Peaks, has died at the age of 63.

Von Dohlen’s death was first reported by his sister Katherine von Dohlen in a Facebook post on Thursday, with his agent subsequently confirming his death to Variety.

“On the 5th of July, the world lost a magnificent man. Brother Len was passionate about everything and everyone. He has always been in the lead; whether it’s an exciting conversation, artistic creation, or traveling to new places. He loved a good laugh. He continues his spiritual path.
