The wedding of Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez in Las Vegas at A Little White Chapel was full of “laughter, smiles and tears,” according to the priest who married them.

Ryan Wolfe told Page Six exclusively in a new interview that Affleck, 49, “choked out” as Lopez, 52, walked down the aisle – “as soon as Jennifer Lopez can” – to “Here Comes the Bride.”

“He watched her walk down the aisle and you could tell he was like, ‘Wow, wow,'” Wolf shared. “He let out a small sigh. You could tell he was definitely there at that moment.”

Wolfe, who “genuinely believes” that Affleck and Lopez are “soulmates,” added that he can “absolutely tell their love is real” and authentic based on how they acted with each other during the intimate ceremony. .

Recalling how it all began, Wolfe told Page Six that it was a typical Saturday night at his job. Then, all of a sudden, around 9:00 p.m., a couple from the list of the best drove up to the meeting place in a black SUV, asking the lead pastor of the Grace Christian Center and its coordinator, Kenosha Portis, if they had “time for another” wedding. .

“Jennifer was in a white dress. She, as always, looked beautiful and stunning. And Ben looked handsome and sleek as ever,” Wolfe said, adding that the actor was at ease as he arrived in “jeans and a white T-shirt.”

Wolfe told us he spoke to Affleck, directing him to the men’s room to change, as the Argo actor insisted he “didn’t need anything out of the ordinary.” While Affleck was quick to don his tuxedo, it took his leading lady a little longer to change from her vintage white dress to a Zuhair Murad dress.

“They came back through the doors and they just have a presence around them. You know it’s someone,” Wolfe said of the moment the stars entered the chapel.

The couple insisted they didn’t want “anything special” and only asked them to recite their own vows and add “a little bit of God” to the ceremony.

“Their vows were beautiful, they were special. And I know that they were very important to them. You could tell that there was something between them that they wanted to share with each other,” the pastor said. “It was a really special, emotional ceremony and a moment they shared. And their children were delighted.”

The only people in the room other than the couple Wolfe and Portis were Lopez’s 14-year-old daughter Emme and Affleck’s 13-year-old daughter Serafina, who acted as the sole photographers at the event. Despite the fact that the wedding was small, Wolfe says that two children brought all the excitement.

“You can tell baby Jennifer and baby Ben definitely have a good relationship. They’re close,” Wolfe said, adding that after he announced Lopez and Affleck as husband and wife, the two teens exploded with “excitement” and hugged each other.

As soon as Bennifer 2.0 said, “Yes,” the pair sealed the deal with a movie-themed kiss. The kiss at the altar was not “too long” but “very, very special” and Wolfe joked that he needed to “take some notes from Ben”.

After their wedding, Wolfe switched from minister to photographer, helping the happy couple take pictures in Elvis’ pink Cadillac and in the tunnel of love.

The pastor estimates that he has officiated over 10,000 weddings in his career in the ministry and can “feel” when the couple will get married. Apparently, there was vibes in the Little White Chapel that evening, as he is sure that “this is for them.”

But Wulf is not one of those who would bet money on newlyweds. According to The View co-host Sunny Hostin, Lopez’s mom, Guadalupe Rodriguez, “always said Ben was her [Jennifer’s] real love.”

The two stars rekindled their romance last year after the “Marry Me” actress ended her four-year relationship with former MLB star Alex Rodriguez. A year after the couple started dating, the actor asked the question for the second time with a massive green sparkler.

The couple were previously engaged in 2002. They postponed their wedding in 2003 due to it getting too much media attention and ended up going their separate ways before getting back together in 2021. After difficulties planning their first wedding, sources told Paige. Six the couple eloped and celebrated with friends and family after.

While the couple enjoyed an intimate ceremony in Sin City, the newlyweds are planning a much larger “multi-day party” on Affleck’s 87-acre property in Riseborough, Georgia. July 24th.

Lopez confirmed her marriage to Affleck in the July 17 edition of her “On The JLo” newsletter, saying it was “exactly what we wanted.”

“We did it. Love is beautiful. Love is kind. And it turns out love is patient. Twenty years of patience,” she blurted out.

“Stay here long enough and you might find the best moment of your life at the 12:30 AM Las Vegas auto race, in the tunnel of love that you will drive through, with your children and whoever you spend eternity with. Love is a great thing, perhaps the best of things, and worth waiting for.”
